What a Yummy, Lazy Memorial Day!

If you click on this image of Christian to enlarge it, you can see he has a cute little boot lip. Aaa-dorable.

Lincoln's such a goof when it comes to sleeping. He's definitely not a fan of the conventional 'head on pillow, body under the covers' way of sleeping. He prefers sleeping like this (above) or sneaking onto the floor and sleeping like Daddy (below).

This poor one is supposed to be studying for two finals tomorrow. No doubt he's feeling totally burned out from studying so hard for two full years. Only two weeks left of 'fire and brimstone' and then we'll be third years! So beyond exciting!!

So, what do you guys think? Do you see the resemblance that I see? Or, am I just biased?

The Many Faces of Christian

What a face this little guy has. Sometimes he looks like an old man stuck in a baby's body. (He gets that a lot.) And, sometimes he looks like his daddy's twin. On the other hand, I can take a photo of Lincoln and Christian at the same age and they look super similar. Well, no matter who he looks like, he's still adorable. Especially when he smiles. It absolutley melts my heart. I fall in love with him over and over again every time.

Thanks, Rachelle, for taking these beautiful photos of Christian.

Lincoln!

Can't forget about how cute this dude is, too. Here's a little spotlight for him:

Hey! Look who it is... Duckie! That's right ladies and gentlemen, we found Duckie--finally. He had been stashed away on a TV stand hiding in the library room at church. I was so elated to see him again. Yeah okay, I'll even admit that I shed a couple of tears. But listen to this...what's so ironic about it all is that as soon as Duckie was found, he was lost again. That following Monday Lincoln was playing with him, and by the afternoon we couldn't find Duckie. I'm totally serious. We definitely have a love-hate relationship with this duck! Anyway, it's been a month now and still no sign of him. Interestingly enough, Lincoln hasn't mentioned him since. I guess it's because Duckie can finally 'rest in peace'. Crazy...

Char & Lilly

Isn't that adorable?!

Lilly looks so much like her daddy. Which balances out her brother's looks perfectly because he looks just like his mommy. Such beautiful children God has blessed them with.

Me & Char

What a surprise! Charlene called me up when Rachelle was out here helping us and said that she was going to come out, too. Say what?!! I was so shocked, and so happy. Char and I haven't been able to spend time together and just pal around for 4 years. We both got married and right away Jon and I moved out to Utah. So, needless to say, it was so great to spend an entire week with her. Just her and me, like old times. I'd forgotten why I love my convert comrad so much. Char is so great. I absolutely love her spirit. She's so dynamic: so strong, so sweet and caring, so loyal, so faithful, so fun. Anyway, she was such a huge help for me. She shared with me some great pointers that really helped me out. Plus, it was great being able to meet her little Lilly. A big thanks to Char's husband, Lander, for letting her come out here and play.

Here's us goofing around:

Perfect little angels...

Me attempting to make a goofy face. Yikes!

Me now attempting to copy Char's goofy face. Another Yikes!

Me with the biggest grin possible. And Char looking like she came straight out of the twilight series!

Love you, Char!
Thank you so much for coming out and helping me!!!

The Exciting Life of Christian!

Sleeping...

(actually, as a note, I would like to give props to Christian for sleeping for 6 hours last night for the first time. Thank you soooo much, little guy!)

Enjoying his swing...

Crying...

Nursing...

Ahh, the life of a baby. So simple. Yet, at times, it can be so hard!

I'm starting to feel like I'm getting back into the swing of things. For example, I straightened my hair for the first time since Christian was born. Being at home with the boys and keeping to Lincoln's routine is getting easier and easier. The biggest obstacle I'm still trying to get used to is taking both boys out somewhere. What's hard is that Christian likes to nurse constantly. So, if he wakes up while we're out, then I'm stuck with either a hysterical baby crying or nursing for half and hour while I try to keep Lincoln close by. I'm sure once Christian can go longer without needed to nurse, taking them shopping will be a lot easier.
