The Olympic Rings

Jon's 26th birthday came right during the Olympics, so I got the idea to make his birthday cake like the olympic rings. It's my favorite cake that Ive made so far. Kinda symbolic, too, b/c this was the Olympics that Jon was hoping to qualify for when his high jumping career was at it's peak. Poor guy. He was still hoping for that dream to come true when we started dating, but soon after he realized that he would never fully recover from his knee injury enough to compete for the Olympics. That's okay, though, b/c there is no way we would have made it into dental school if he had been a full-time athlete at BYU. So, at least he got to keep one of his dreams and that was of becoming a dentist. Back to his birthday... we invited some friends over and played beach volleyball and then came back to our place for food and games. Catch Phrase is always our favorite. The best. Always a good laugh.
