Christian's Baby Blessing
It's hard being so far away from family. But we sure felt blessed to have at least two more family members, other than us, at Christian's blessing.
Can I just tell everyone how much I love Jon's gift of giving priesthood blessings? He does such a remarkable job at tuning into the Holy Ghost's promptings and letting the Spirit guide his words. I have absolutely loved both of our boys baby blessings. It has been very exciting for me what Heavenly Father has revealed to us about their characters and their future. It was amazing to see what things Christian's blessing had in common with me and Jon's patriarchal blessings. I will share some of the tender things that were revealed in Christian's blessing: (1) He will have a disposition to smile, (2) He will be a good communicator, (3) He is to be humble with his gift of understanding scripture, and another is (4) He will help unify our family to greater heights. How special. It was also really neat reviewing the blessing with Jon and him sharing all the different impressions he got while the different blessings came. What a special day that was. It made it even sweeter that two other of our friends blessed their babies in our ward that same day. Not to mention, our ward is babies galore right now. We have like 7 new babies. And yes, the nursing room is always filled to capacity. I'm really enjoying going through the infancy stage with so many other moms. Their support and advice have also been a tremendous blessing for me.

I think the cumberland ward is just baby prone! When Dallin was born I think there were 6! I think the nursing room needs to be doubled in size just for that reason! Congratulations again on your beautiful boy!
All the pictures are great!! Dorsey you look fantastic. I love the one of the men and the expression and rejoicing arms of Lincoln. What a wonderful day. Congratulations. I can see that beautiful smile of Christians on all of your faces. Love you guys!
