Sewing Nightmares

So, I used my first pattern to make a dining room valance. As you can see in my face, it didn't work out so well. Gosh! It took me so much time to make--so much time. It broke my heart that it ended up being to narrow for the window. It was awful. I think in order to correct it I'm going to have to add more material to the sides, without taking appart the whole valance. It's gonna be a little tricky. Hopefully it'll turn out alright or you'll be seeing some tears next. Who knows when I'll muster up the motivation to fix it, or even start on the other one. Sob...

Jon & Linc

Jon was throwing Lincoln so high up into the air. Lincoln just loved it. He was laughing the whole time. It was kinda a struggle to get a picture of him in the air, though. Lincoln loves playing with his daddy.

The Dental Club

Here are some of the LDS dental wives in our class year. There are 11 LDS students in our class, which comprises a whopping 10% of the entire class. Pretty crazy since Saints aren't nearly that much of the general population. The dean of admissions says he really likes Mormons because they are so professional and very responsible. Yeah! It's all in the mission. Dentistry is definitely a popular career for Mormons. It's great having so many of us together doing the same thing.
