While we were at the wedding in Idaho Falls we did a little celebrating of our own. One year and many more to come!
The Idaho Falls Temple. We went there for Jon's old roommate, Jason Stout, and Crystal's wedding. They were sealed on the same day as we were, except one year later.
Pretty cute for a 9-month prego lady!
Isn't he a crack-up! Jon really lucked out for his bday: all the parents bought him a new, very cool razor; Eric gave him shampoo & conditioner that is like "a breath mint for you head"; our friends, the Barlows, gave him a gift certificate to the 'man' store (Home Depot); and prego wifie got him a cute shirt. (Provo hm. August 15th)
Jon's 24th bday party. So...the cake totally was a flop! I tried making a recipe that didn't include flour and it didn't work out at all. It was pretty funny :0)
What great spirits these two have!
Aren't these cherry tomatoes bizzare. They came from our garden, so I guess that explains it. Jon and I planted our first garden this past spring! We thoroughly enjoyed it. Here's a list of everything we had: yellow & green zuchinni, cherry & roma tomatoes, strawberries, corn, rosemary, lavendar, broccoli, basil, carrots, cucumbers, honeydew melon, cantalope, & romaine & butterleaf lettuce! Whew, that was one long list!
Lincoln, me, and his gorgeous grandma.
We finally unraveled our 1-year anniversary cake saved up from our wedding. Surprisingly enough, it still tasted pretty good. In one of the photos I'm faking out Jon by pretending to smash the cake in his face! That was hilarious.
Terrie gets kidnapped for her surprise party. It was so much fun! She totally had it coming to her after tying Dorsey to a chair at girls camp and writing "You Got Served" on her!
Jonny & his bro Jordan, who just got back from his mission in Washington state.
Doesn't he look handsome?! I've totally lucked out in my opinion--he's hot and he can cook!
Look at all these handsome men! They all dressed up and catered to Terrie for her 50th. They did such a great job, too. (from left: Kraig, Jon, Eric, Kalvin, Jordan, Konnor)
We would like to thank all the grandparents for such great genes! Not to brag or anything, we just think he's super cute! (Lincoln @ 7 weeks)
What a beautiful couple. Keep up the good work Mom & Dad!

Like father, like son! These two are quite the shutter bugs. Kraig's father, whose middle name is Revere like Lincoln, once owned a photo shop. It must run in the family! :0)

Top left going clockwise: the Provo trio, Jon's cousins from his uncle Ken who has 9 kids!, 2nd generation of cousins, and of course Jon & Dorsey goofing off. (Mark Willison's open house. Aug 2006)

Even Eric can make funny faces! It must run in the family
We had a chance to visit the Las Vegas Temple before we came home. It's up against a mountain range, so you can spot from the entire valley. Can anyone find Angel Moroni? Fact: Lincoln is becoming well traveled for a two month-old. He's been to Cali and Las Vegas (not to mention all the places he went while in the womb!) and then for Christmas he's headed to New Orleans (where his daddy proposed to his mom). (10-08-06)
What goofballs! Jon & Dorsey in Las Vegas for the first time, attending their friend's Mike and Nicole's wedding (not dressed like that, though!)
Lincoln busy watching the prophets speak for General Conference :0) Top left going clockwise: sleeping, getting diaper changed, sleeping again (hmm, I think I see a pattern here), and eating (he's under the blanket). Yep, I think he got everything that was said! (Orem. Mann apt. 10-01-06)
Lincoln loves his new aunts and uncles. There's so many of them! He's like a hot potato and just gets endlessly passed around. What a lucky baby! Top left going clockwise: Uncle Jordan, Uncle Konnor, Auntie Robin, and Uncle Eric. (Terrie's 50th bday. 11-04-06)
Lincoln is such a good talker. He loves to babble to me when I'm changing his diaper. He gets really giggly and starts moving his mouth and tongue all around while he makes different noises. It's the cutest thing ever!
This is prego Dorsey at 33 weeks. Lincoln is only 5 weeks away. Dang, that is one round belly!
Lincoln's first week home! He got to meet two new members of his family: Grandma Amy and our fur-ball Romeo. At that point Lincoln still had a cone head, but now his scull has a very nice, round shape. Good job plates! (Provo home. 09-16-06)
We have been married for almost four years and are wonderfully in love. We have a little guys named Lincoln and Christian. We are both originally from Sonoma County, CA, but now live in Indianapolis. Jon is about to start his third year of dental school. Hurray! He is also a Lieutenant in the Air Force. Dorsey has the greatest job of raising their children. We have two awesome kitties named Romeo, who is 8, and Reina, who is almost 1. We're Latter-day Saints and feel very grateful to have the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives. Thanks for visiting our blog. Come again soon!
